Fun Holiday Traditions

*By: Megan Deppen*

I’m always excited for the holidays to come around because two of my new favorite traditions that I started last year with my niece and nephew is decorating gingerbread houses and baking sugar cookies. Their gingerbread houses this year were Peppa Pig and PJ Masks themed and let me tell you even though the pieces were pre-cut, putting them together was no easy feat. However, in the end, the kids had a blast and that is all that matters!

Another tradition I enjoy is baking sugar cookies and using Christmas cutouts. This year I baked a tasty recipe from Daphne Oz that you can check out here. Unfortunately, we couldn’t hold back and we ate the decorated cookies before I could snap any of my own pictures. 🙂 See below for the festive fun we had this past weekend. ‘Tis the Season!

What are some of your favorite holiday traditions? Leave your comments below.
