Do you struggle to find time in your day to exercise? Between work and personal life, kids, school, etc., it can be particularly challenging. I always thought that I had to work out longer in order to achieve my workout goals, however shorter workouts prove to be just as beneficial. Some benefits include weight loss, muscle gain, and improved cardiovascular and mental health. This is especially true if you’re incorporating shorter workouts that are high intensity, such as HITT. Furthermore, by incorporating a shorter workout into your exercise routine, you’re more likely to stick with it long term and it’s easier to fit it into the middle of your day. Having an excuse not to workout will now be a thing of the past!
A short workout that I love to incorporate into my exercise routine is a 10-minute Super Tabata ab workout from Popsugar Fitness. A Super Tabata is when you train for a 40-second interval and have a longer rest period in between. A traditional Tabata is when you train for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds. This ab workout includes everything from planks, scissor kicks, bicycles, mountain climbers, etc. I promise you, by the end of this workout your abs will be burning! I suggest you add this to your workout routine once a week for best results. Check out the full video below.
