Do you have a pet that you absolutely adore and is your best friend? Most pets are considered part of our families and I don’t know about you, but I love spoiling my little fur baby! Since my husband and I don’t have children yet, our dog is our child, so it’s a no-brainer that we threw her a flamingo-themed party for her third birthday.

If you adore your pet just as much as I do and want to throw them a fashionable birthday soirée, then keep on reading!

Pawty” Tips:

  • Decide on a theme – You don’t necessarily need a theme, but I always find it’s more fun to decorate when you do it around a certain theme. This year, we hosted a flamingo-themed party with lots of pink.
  • Pick decorations that coordinate with your theme – This is probably my favorite part of the party planning process. My go-to store for anything party supplies is Party City. If you can’t find it there, you can’t find it anywhere! I also purchased fun flamingo decorations from LaVenty on Amazon.
  • Decide on a menu – Food is always one, if not the most important elements of any event. We had a variety of food including, ribs, carnitas, and pizza. On the dessert menu for the two-legged guests, I made an amazing three-layer chocolate cake with buttercream icing, which can be found at Sprinkles for Breakfast. And, of course, I had to make a cake for the birthday pup, which I used an easy recipe from Love From the Oven.
  • Party Favors – Not a must do, but if you have extra chotskies and there are kids attending, they always love to take fun party favors home. At the party, the kids took home balloons, tattoos, candy bracelets, and party blowers.
