The back is one of the most important parts of the body and also one that is more prone to stress and injury. To help maintain a strong back and prevent injury, certain exercises should be incorporated into your workout routine. Here are few that will give you a strong and sexy back.
This exercise strengthens the muscles that support the spine. When these muscles get stronger they will promote good posture, and reduce risk of injury. This is a great exercise to do anywhere and doesn’t require equipment.
Planks help build strong abdominal muscles which reduce the strain on your back, shoulders and neck. For those reasons, this move will reduce back pain. This move can be done from propping your body up by your hands or forearms as shown in the video.
The deadlift targets many muscles including the lower back. It also works the legs and the core. These muscles are essential to keep your body in alignment and help with posture. This can be done with dumbbells, a barbell or no weight at all.
This move targets the muscles in the upper back and also strengthens the shoulders. A strong upper back will balance out your shoulders. You can also do this workout using a resistance band if you want to start out light and not use the dumbbells.
Even though this move might be toning the gluteus maximus. This muscle is one of the most important muscles and keeping it toned and strong also helps the lower back at the same time. It is truly a win win move!
