Having upper body strength is important to our overall fitness because it helps us perform everyday activities such as lifting, pulling, pushing and improves our range of motion and flexibility. If you’re like me, and tend to skip out on upper body workouts and concentrate more on cardio, now might be a good time to start incorporating some upper body strengthening into your daily fitness schedule.
Since having a baby not long ago, strengthening my upper body is even more imperative since I’m constantly lifting and carrying my baby boy, so I’m looking forward to adding more of these workouts into my future fitness routines.
