Boot Camp Style Workouts

*By: Megan Deppen*

Are you looking to amp up your workouts or try something new? The term “boot camp” comes from the military and refers to the period of time before active duty, where new recruits are put through intense training in preparation to become soldiers. A boot camp style workout is typically an hour long and includes high intensity intervals to build strength and lose weight. While these types of workouts are challenging, over time they may help improve mental health, strength, cardio endurance, etc. Try incorporating a boot camp style workout into your daily fitness regimen about one to two times a week and remember to take break days in between so your body has time to recover.
